Augusta (nee Howard) Ramsey of Rochester, New York

RAMSEY - Thursday, July 4, 1940, Gussie Norton Ramsey of Scottsville Road, widow of John Ramsey. She is survived by one son, Howard N. Ramsey; three daughters, Mrs. George Beachner, Webster, NY, Mrs. Arthur Stritzel and Miss Elizabeth Ramsey; her mother Mrs. Mary Jane Howard; two brothers, Charles J. and Norton A. Howard; two sisters, Mrs. William Scheick, Mrs. F. J. Ryan, New York City, and 14 grandchildren. Deceased was a member of Amo Chapter, O.E.S. Funeral services at Hedges New Memorial Chapel, University Avenue at Main Street on Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
