Mr. Gould was graduated from Syracuse University. In 1933 he became a partner in the Flick-Gould Travel Bureau, with offices in Syracuse and Albany. He joined American Airlines in 1940 and became district sales manager in New York. In 1946 he joined Scandanavian Airlines System as vice president for traffic and sales.

Mr. Gould rejoined American Airlines as director of passenger sales in 1948 and was elected vice president in charge of the line's eastern sales region three years later. In 1955 he became sales manager for the Pacific area, with headquarters in Honolulu. He retired about a year ago.

Survivors include his widow, the former Ray Meyerle; a son, Peter, and two daughters, Lynn and Katherine Gould.
