Mrs. Elizabeth Lodwick, wife of Sheldon Lodwick of Mineral Ridge,
died at the family residence in the Town Line yesterday at noon, after a
long and painful illness with cancer. Mrs. Lodwick was a daughter of Mr. &
Mrs. John Adams, former residents of the Ridge, and was married to Sheldon
Lodwick 20 years ago. She was 40 years old, and always enjoyed the esteem
of a large circle of friends. She was a faithful member of the Methodist
Church, of the Rebekah lodge, and was a devoted wife and mother. During her
illness, the unfailing attention of her many friends has been a source of much
comfort to her. She leaves her husband, and three daughters, her mother and
father and several brothers. Funeral services will be held from the Methodist
Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev B. McCarthy officiating.
Interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery (AKA Kerr's Cemetery).
