PIONEER DEAD - MRS CATHERINE WEIMER IS CALLED HOME WEDNESDAY, LIVED HERE
SINCE 1861.
Mrs Catherine Weimer, wife of Joseph Weimer, 219 Seneca street,
died at her home Wednesday at 10 a. m. after a long illness with asthma and
heart trouble. The deceased was born March 10, 1834 in the kingdom of
Wurtemberg, Germany. In 1867 she came to America, first taking up her
residence in Warren, OH. In 1861 she came to this city and had ever since
been among the most highly respected residents of Brier Hill. The deceased
was married in 1858 to Matthias Weimer, who died a short time later and in
1861 she became the wife of Joseph Weimer, who now survives with six
children, John, Mrs Mylo Lodwick, David, George, Mrs William Bader, city, and
Mrs Jacob Strehle of Warren.
