Mrs. Dora Baun Weimer, a widely known and highly respected woman of this
city, wife of Arthur John Weimer, passed away at 3:20 o'clock this morning in
her home. 158 West Chalmers Avenue, following a week's illness of bronchial
pneumonia. Mrs. Weimer was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of Fred and
Caroline Baun. She had resided in Youngstown for the last fifteen years.
Thirteen years ago, she was united in marriage in Philadelphia to Arthur John
Weimer. Mrs. Weimer and her sister married brothers and since her marriage
she has always lived with her sister, Mrs. Fred Weimer. Since coming here
Mrs. Weimer had been a faithful member of the Martin Luther Church where she
had always attended services and taken active interest in church work.
Surviving with her husband are two children, Beatrice, aged 9 years and
George Earle, aged 2 years, her parents and one brother, Fred Baun of
Philadelphia and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Kohler of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Fred
Weimer of this city. As a gracious and charming woman Mrs. Weimer was known
to a host of friends here. She was an ideal wife and mother. Her greater
interest had ever been in her family and home. It is with keen and deep
regret that her friends hear of her passing. Funeral arrangements are
incomplete.
