MRS MAHONEY DIES AT 84; LIVED IN NILES 63 YEARS
Niles. Mrs Bridget Frances Mahoney, 84, 18 Maple Ave., widow of Timothy Mahoney, died at 8:35p.m.
yesterday in Trumbull Memorail Hospital. She had been in failing health for
eight years. Mrs Mahoney was born Jan. 26, 1873 in Youngstown, a daughter of
Patrick and Sarah Egan Timlin, and had resided in Niles for 63 years. She
was a member of St Stephen's Church the Altar Society and the Infant of
Prague League. Surviving are three sons, Joseph, Frank, and Paul, all of
Niles; a daughter, Mary Mahoney at home; two sisters, Mrs William Arntz of
Warren and Mrs William Ridinger of Youngstown; five grandchildren and five
great grandchildren. Mr Mahoney died Christmas day in 1947. The body is at
the Reese Funeral Home where the family will meet friends tonight and
Wednesday afternoon and evening. Services will be held at 9 a. m. Thursday
in the church with burial in the parish cemetery.
