John Arterberry died 10-21-1938, at home in Ada, Oklahoma.

John S.Arterberry,68,of Ada,Oklahoma, son of Bennett and Caroline Arterberry. He married Nannie Lane 8-23-1899.He was preceeded in death by his wife Nannie and one son Lee Francis. John is buried at Memorial Park, Ada, Oklahoma.

Survivors include seven daughters Tommie Tatum, Rosie Harris, Stella Smith, Eva Arterberry, Zonie Honeycutt, Tennie Taylor, Myrtle Whitson and one son Earl Arterberry, and grandchildren.
