ADA - Graveside services for Myrtle Irene Whitson, 82, Ada, are at 3 PM Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Whitson died 8-2-1997, Ada. She was born 4-16-1915 to John and Nannie Lane-Arterberry.

She was a lifetime resident of this area and attended school at Latta. She married John P. Whitson in 1938, Ada. He preceeds her in death in 1964. She retired from McClellan's and was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Louise Gee, Grandberry, TX; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
