Jan Inez, the three year old daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Works Porter died at the home of her parents early Sunday morning, October 2, 1921 after a lingering illness of several months. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church, Monday, October 3, 1921 by Rev. E. H. Colburn after which the remains were laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery. She was born August 23, 1918 in Jack County. The Gazette joins the many friends in sympathy for the bereaved parents.
