Irving Black died at his resident on Mill Street Tuesday, May 16, 1923,
after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be conducted by
the Odd Fellow Lodge this afternoon, Wednesday, May 17, 1923 in Oakwood
Cemetery. Mr. Black was injured by having his arm sprained or broken while
working in the Nance-Perkins garage, about a year ago. Sometime later his
arm was amputated. This, however, failed to restore his health. He is
survived by Mrs. Black, four children, his father and several other
relatives.
