Newton Franklin Smith Jr., 5, of Jacksboro, died March 30, 1925 in Jacksboro. Funeral services were in the First Baptist Church in Jacksboro and burial in Oakwood Cemetery under direction of the Hess Funeral Home of Jacksboro. He was born September 19, 1919 in Jack County to Newton Franklin "Dick" and the late Bessie Price Smith. Survivors include his father, Newton F. "Dick" Smith of Jacksboro, and a sister Leora Smith of Jacksboro.
