The Rev. David Frank Schlottmann, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 9, 1924, to Henri and Clara (Edgbert) Schlottmann in Olympia.
He married Phyllis Emyle Cook on May 10, 1943. She preceded him in death. He married Katherine Taylor
Krick on Jan. 7, 1996.
He served in the Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945 and was a staff sergeant when he was discharged.
He was the pastor of Black Lake Chapel at the time of his death..
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Schlottmann of Olympia; six sons, David, F. Michael and
Matthew Schlottmann, all of Olympia, John Schlottmann of Tumwater, Franz D. Schlottmann of Carson
City, Nev., Phillip Schlottman of Lacey, one daughter, P. Wendy Griffin of Olympia; a brother,
Franz H. Schlottmann of Olympia; two sisters, Sibyl Wendler and M. Ruth Layton, both of Olympia;
Arrangements by Olympic Funeral Home, Tumwater. Interment at the Olympic Memorial Gardens,
Tumwater, Washington
